Change in career

Recently I have been a bit quiet on the blogging front. Other than my 365 photos , which in all honesty I have been struggling to keep up with recently. My reason for this is that I have had a lot going on at home. I made the decision 2 weeks ago to hand my notice in at my job of 10 years.  This was a scary thought, but I had decided that it was time for a change. Luckily I managed to find another job almost instantly. I am aware this doesn’t happen that often.
So within the last two weeks I have left a job and started a new chapter in my career. Not only have I changed jobs but I have also gone self-employed. In hindsight this may have been a decision made in haste , however I was in the mindset that I would just take that risk. I am lucky that all my family have been supportive of me , especially my husband ,who when I have a little wobble convinces me I have done the right thing.

As I have gone self-employed there has been a lot I have been doing behind the scenes. Luckily I quite like social media , bit of a must have with having a blog anyway. I have been setting up twitter accounts and instagram accounts.   So far my first week has been lovely, all the staff ‘family’ at the new salon are lovely and have made me feel extremely welcome. I had the opportunity to go to ‘Pro Hair Live’ this weekend with them but unfortunately I couldn’t make it. I made the mistake of following the prohairlive twitter feed and now I want to buy everything.

You will probably find me writing more hair related posts ,as well as things about family life.

Hey if you live in Manchester and you need a hairdresser , get in touch !
