Little Tikes Light ‘n Go 3-in-1 Sports Zone review.

When Little Tikes got in touch recently about different ways to get outdoors with the children they sent us Splash Face as well as the Little Tikes 3-in-1 Sports Zone

The Little Tikes Light ‘n Go 3-in-1 Sports Zone RRP £34.99, allows your child to Dunk, kick and score with your child’s 3 favourite sports: basketball, football and bowling! The Basketball features an adjustable height hoop to grow with your child. The  Little Tikes 3-in-1 Sports Zone is age ranged from 12-36 months but J has had just as much fun playing with it as C and he is 5yrs old.

The  Sports Zone was simple and easy enough to put together. One of the first things I noticed was how small it folded up. One thing we are lacking in our house is space, so anything that folds up for storage is a great idea. Once folded up, other than the basketball net, the sports zone is short enough to slide under our children’s table which saves even more space.

As the weather is so great at the moment we made the most of it and took the sports zone outside to play with.  The 3-in-1 Sports Zone has 3 different balls. Although you can use any ball with each zone, the bowling ball is harder and heavier than the others so it is more realistic like a bowling ball. Once you knock the pins down it pushes up the shapes at the top. This is a great way for learning numbers, colours and shapes, by pressing down the corresponding shape it sets up the pins again.

Tha basketball net is adjustable and is the main body of the 3-in-1 Sports Zone. The screen displays different things, such as numbers when counting how many hoops you have scored. There are 3 buttons on the side which allow you to choose which mode to play with. Play and learn, Music, follow directions. Inside the hoop is a button that gets pressed when you have thrown the basketball through the hoop, this can then count up your score.

The football net has taught C how to shout goal! When you kick the ball in the net the mechanism again sets off the computer. C did try to use the net as a tunnel a few times which was quite amusing to watch.

As the 3-in-1 Sports Zone is quite light, there is no issue carrying it in and out of the house. This has meant that it actually goes outsides most days when the children go out. C seems to be more into sports than J ever was, now he is older he is showing more interest in things like football. The Little Tikes 3-in-1 Sports Zone is a great way for them to play together. It has taught C how to take turns when playing although they both forget this most of the time.  Our 12-year-old neighbour came around the other day and I think he enjoyed playing with this just as much as the kids. It kept them all entertained for a while.

Do you have the 3-in-1 Sports Zone? What do you think of it?

We received the 3-in-1 Sports Zone in return for an honest review.
