As the owner and writer of Mum to a Monster, I am committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of all visitors to my web site and subscribers to my blog. Here you’ll find information on how we treat data that we collect from visitors to our website, or when someone subscribes to my blog.
Visitors to my website
When someone visits mumtoamonster.com I use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. I do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. I do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting my website. You can find more information on how cookies are used on this website in the Cookies Policy below.
If I do want to collect personally identifiable information through my website, we will be up front about this. I will make it clear when I collect personal information and will explain what I intend to do with it.
The information that you give to me directly on the site (e.g. within comments on blog posts such as your name and email address) is never shared or added to any mailing lists. If you subscribe to my blog using the sign up box in the sidebar your email address will only ever be used to notify you when I publish a new post. It will not be used for any other purpose.
I will never sell, barter, or rent your email address to any unauthorised third-party.
You may request a copy of any information I hold about you at any time, or request to have this information removed by emailing me on firstname.lastname@example.org
